WorldClim 2.1 provides 19 bioclimatic variables plus monthly temperature and precipitation normals at 1km–~340km², covering 1970–2000 baselines. Read the WorldClim terms before any redistribution or derivative use.

Why we surface it

WorldClim shows up in a large share of published global crop-suitability and agro-ecological modeling — it's the reference point researchers reach for first. That reach is exactly why the license matters here.
