US Drought Monitor
Current-week national drought-severity polygons (D0–D4).
What this is
The US Drought Monitor is the weekly national drought map, published every Thursday, produced by NDMC, USDA, and NOAA. UFFDA pulls the latest week's county-level polygons and renders them as a toggleable overlay with the official USDM color ramp.
Why we surface it
Drought is the single biggest weather story in US ag most years. Ground-truth current conditions in one click, color-matched to what every USDA program report uses.
