Daymet (contiguous US) + ERA5-Land (global) deep per-field weather

Per-field daily weather (temperature, precipitation, soil temperature). A heavy build; deferred.

What this is

Daymet (1km, daily, contiguous US) and ERA5-Land (~9km, hourly, global) would add deep per-field weather context — temperature, precipitation, soil temperature, humidity.

Why we surface it

Per-field deep weather could matter more once UFFDA supports saved per-field projects, which don't exist yet — think season-over-season comparisons on the fields you follow, not just what the map shows you today.

What you can do with it

Shown for commercial use. Personal, research, and nonprofit use is often more permissive — switch the verdict lens on the catalog.

Internal / individual use
Public domain. Use it for anything — internal, resale, AI training, closed products. No attribution legally required (crediting the source is still the decent thing to do).

This decoder is a starting point, not legal advice. For commercial deployment, run the actual license terms past someone who reads them for a living.

Parked

Per-field weather context is deferred — the map's ambient weather (current temperature, soil temperature) already covers the common case.
