What this is
The UW–Madison SAGE crop calendar and its successor GGCMI Phase 3 provide gridded planting and harvest dates for major crops globally at 5-arcmin and 0.5°. Available as bulk downloads from SAGE and on Zenodo. License note: GGCMI Phase 3 (Zenodo 5062513) is confirmed CC-BY-4.0 — no verification needed if using this release. The SAGE base calendar (Sacks et al. 2010) download page states academic/non-commercial use; redistribution or commercial use requires permission from UW-Madison SAGE. If using GGCMI Phase 3, proceed freely with attribution; if using the SAGE base dataset, confirm terms with UW-Madison SAGE before commercial integration.
