OpenET monthly evapotranspiration (CONUS)

Per-field water use, satellite-derived. Considered for Season I; deferred.

What this is

OpenET delivers per-field, monthly evapotranspiration estimates derived from a six-model satellite ensemble. Custom Terms of Use — noncommercial free tier; commercial use requires a separate agreement with the consortium. Strong fit for irrigation-heavy users.

Why we surface it

Strong fit for irrigation-heavy users. Currently parked because water-use isn't a Day-1 user moment for the corn-soy / Pioneer-test audience.

What you can do with it

Shown for commercial use. Personal, research, and nonprofit use is often more permissive — switch the verdict lens on the catalog.
